Help & policies

Shipping and returns in full, plus the questions we get most.

Shipping

How and when your order moves.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from Winnipeg within 1 business day of being placed. Delivery time depends on the carrier and your location, and the estimate is shown at checkout before you pay. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order is on its way.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and the size of your order. You'll see the exact cost before you pay.

Which carrier will deliver my order?

Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, or FedEx, depending on your address and the best option available. The carrier and tracking link are in your shipping confirmation email.

Do you ship to the territories and remote areas?

Yes. Shipping cost and delivery time are shown at checkout. Remote areas can take longer.

Do you ship outside Canada?

Not at this time. Checkout accepts Canadian addresses only.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

Yes, as long as the shipping label has not been printed. Send us the order number and the new address through the contact page.

What does the warranty cover?

All products are covered for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects under regular use. The warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, or normal wear.

What if I receive a defective product?

Send a refund request through the contact page with your order number and a description of the problem. We handle every case individually. Defective items must be returned to us before a replacement or refund is issued.

Choosing the right cable

Which cable does what.

Which HDMI cable do I need?

For 4K at 60Hz, any High Speed (HDMI 2.0) cable will do. For 4K at 120Hz or 8K, you need an Ultra High Speed (HDMI 2.1) cable. Every product page lists the version and maximum resolution so you can match it to your TV or console.

Does a more expensive HDMI cable give a better picture?

No. HDMI is digital, so the signal either arrives or it doesn't. What matters is that the cable is rated for your resolution and refresh rate, and that it's long enough. Beyond that, extra cost buys nothing.

What's the difference between Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a?

Cat5e handles gigabit speeds and is fine for most homes. Cat6 handles 10 gigabit up to 55 metres and is the safer choice for new installs. Cat6a handles 10 gigabit up to 100 metres and is what you want for longer runs or a business network.

I'm not sure what I need. Can you help?

Yes. Ask a product question through the contact page with what you're trying to connect and we'll point you to the right cable.
